Terms of service

1. Who can use Konecto

Konecto is for organisations and individuals who run events — schools, universities, public-sector bodies, non-profits, community groups, and businesses. By creating an account, you confirm you have the authority to act on behalf of the organisation you sign up as.

2. What Konecto provides

Event pages, ticketing, attendee CRM, page builder, analytics, email tools, and integrations with payment processors (Pok). Konecto is a software tool. It is not a payment processor, not a money custodian, and does not independently verify organisers or events.

3. Payments

Paid tickets are processed securely on Konecto using the organiser's connected merchant account. Funds settle directly from Pok to the organiser; Konecto never touches the money.

Konecto may charge a subscription fee in the future for advanced features. The current MVP is free for every organiser. Free events are free, forever, for schools, universities, public-sector, and non-profits.

4. Organiser responsibilities

  • Run real events. Misrepresenting an event is grounds for suspension.
  • Keep ticketing terms (refunds, transfers) honest and follow them.
  • Comply with applicable tax and consumer-protection law.
  • Don't spam your attendee list.
  • Don't post illegal, hateful, or fraudulent content.

5. Attendee data

Attendee personal data captured through Konecto stays the organiser's responsibility under GDPR. Konecto provides the technical means; the organiser is the controller.

6. Intellectual property

Content you upload remains yours. By uploading, you grant Konecto a limited licence to host, display, and process the content for the purpose of operating the platform.

Konecto branding, code, and product design are owned by Konecto. Third-party illustrations included in the page builder are licensed for use within Konecto- generated pages only.

7. Suspension and termination

Konecto may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or pose a risk to attendees or other organisers. We will send notice unless doing so would compromise an investigation.

You can close your account at any time. Closure deletes future access; historic booking and audit-log records are retained per the privacy policy.

8. Liability

Konecto is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the platform up and the data safe, but the platform is offered without warranty. Konecto is not liable for losses arising from organiser actions, attendee disputes, or third-party services (Pok, email, etc.).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product or law changes. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
